407 Training Visa

Facilitating applicants with under 1 year of formal teaching experience, the 407 Training Visa, enables teachers to live and work in Australia as a teacher for up to 2 years, building valuable experience and expertise in the Victorian Education System.

Term: Upto 2 Years

Cost: $415AUD per adult

Cost: $105 AUD per child

482 Skills In Demand Visa

Facilitating applicants with over 1 year of formal teaching experience, the 482 Skills In Demand Visa, enables teachers to live and work in Australia as a teacher for up to 4 years, building valuable experience and securing eligibility for Australian permanent residency and citizenship.

Term: Upto 4 Years

Cost: $3115AUD per adult

Cost: $780 AUD per child

Teaching Registration

Successfully eliminating unnecessary obstacles, TeachVic has worked diligently with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) and the Department of Education to streamline the registration process, creating a structured and efficient system that offers you clarity and support at every stage.

Following the acceptance of an offer, our team of specialists will connect with you and support you through the entire Visa application process.

Please note: you WILL need to demonstrate the following before we can put you forward for a role and ensure successful registration with VIT

  • Completed University-Level Education totalling 4 Years of Learning

  • Completed a minimum 1 Year Degree in Education (B.Ed. or M.Ed or PGCE or PDCE)

  • Completed 45+ days of Supervised Practice Teaching (sometimes referred to as student teaching)

  • Clear Police Record Check

  • Completed Education Degree in Aust., New Zealand, UK, USA, Canada, Ireland OR

  • Passed English Language Assessment

    • IELTS - Academic Module

      • Min Band 8 in Listening and Speaking

      • Min Band 7 in Reading and Writing
